Visual Arts Program: Fall Postcards

Updated: Sep 10

Duration: 35 - 45 mintues

Goals: To encourage creative self expression by designing a postcard inspired by a favourite summer place and support reflection, sensory engagement, and social connection through sharing stories and artwork.

Description: In this program, participants create their own fall postcards using watercolours, markers, or pencils. Each postcard is inspired by a favourite activity, place, or memory from the season such as colourful forests, pumpkin patches, or cozy kitchens. Guided step by step, participants will sketch a scene, add autumn colours, and write a short message on the back to send as a fall greeting. The activity combines creative expression with personal storytelling and offers a simple, meaningful way to share the spirit of the season with others.
