Sarah Waterfield

Art Therapist

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) and multidisciplinary artist combining art-making and mindfulness to boost quality of life through stress management and emotional resilience. Sarah graduated with honours from the University of Toronto in Art History, holds a diploma in Fine Art from Sheridan College, a certificate from U of T in the Contemplative Arts and is currently completing training in art therapy through the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (expected completion in 2024). Sarah has experience providing individual and group art therapy and psychotherapy both in-person and online for diverse needs, including: anxiety, depression, dementia, effects from traumatic experiences, grief, bereavement and the challenges of facing end of life in palliative care. Through creative sessions tailored to individual strengths and interests, Sarah seeks to cultivate a safe and inclusive environment to support connection and inner peace.
