Mollia Weidman

Art Therapist

Mollia May is a Canadian artist, Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying), and training art therapist (DTATI - qualifying) from Toronto, Ontario. She completed a bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts (BFA) and Psychology (BA) at York University in January 2020. Mollia is in the process of completing her post-graduate degree in Art Therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI) and is expected to graduate in 2023. Mollia has experience supporting children, families, and older adults facing various life challenges including bereavement, pain or stress management, neurodegenerative disorders, and other concurrent disabilities. Through creative play and the freedom of expression, Mollia utilizes the imaginative, metaphorical, and somatic qualities of art making into her therapeutic approach to foster a positive, mindful, and accessible healing space to all.
