Jack Stevens

MTA

Music Therapist

Jack Stevens is graduate of the Master of Music Therapy program at Wilfrid Laurier University where he completed his clinical internship at Baycrest Health Sciences, New Song Music Therapy, and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. They have experience working in long-term care, palliative care, pediatric care, mental illness, individuals who have experiences traumatic events, and varying physical and cognitive disabilities such as Autism and Cerebral Palsy. Through a client-centred approach, Jack utilizes the guitar, percussive techniques, songwriting, and improvisation in their music therapy work.


As a music therpist, Jack strives to create safe and open spaces for those he works with. Jack is set to complete the CB-MT exam where they will attain MTA status.
